Terpological Discernment of Collab #13
Garlic Cookies (G.M.O.) x Hazy Lady

How it Feels
The first night I toked Collab 13 I honestly was knocked out fairly quickly. I love GMO and anything that I have had that hails from GMO lines are amazing. Collab 13 is immediately relaxing, not sedating at first. There's an ever so slight hint of that sativa energy that bleeds into the tactile sensation I experience with cannabis. For me indica has this effect as well, but the relaxing component of indica seems to over ride or just not have the same provocative effect on my awareness of the sensation.
With sativa and strong sativa leans, I experience it much more intensely, and it is usually accompanied with some level of paranoia or jitteriness at onset for me. Not amped up like a synthetic substance, but definitely not the relaxation that takes over the body when that same sensation is present without the accompanying anxiety and associated issues.

Sativa's usually have a more intense sensation for me in that and it also lasts for a greater length of time. The sensation seems to subside into a more muscle oriented relaxing calm bordering on sedation at times in strong indicas or hybrids with heavy indica expression.
From what I have discerned in my research, it is important to note, that indica expresses dominant when sativa isn't present, as even the parent and further back presence of SATIVA Landrace expresses it's presence through Landrace or heirloom indica. This is one reason I think that indica is, as is inferred by common cannabis knowledge, a branching off of the Cannabis Sativa Sub species of Cannabace. I think those are the correct phylum (scientific biological hierarchical categorization.)

Regardless, I definitely am certain sativa makes its characteristics present in hybrid cannabis, by either diminishing the effects of Indica pure lineage or by making its presence in characteristics in the profile, in structural characteristics, bud structure etc. While I dont often take Bud Structure into consideration when reviewing concentrates I am going to start reviewing the structural characteristics of the Bud.

This is another way it can be visually seen that sativa elongates the rounded dense nugs of the Indica when combined. But when sativa Landrace genetics are the base, and Indica even Landrace is mixed, the outcome is usually more often than not dominantly sativa in its characteristics.
Collab 13 only has a very light note of that sativa energy in that tactile psychoactive sensation. That quickly fades into the relaxation initially felt upon inhale. The initial lung infusion is very calming and relaxing. That is followed by that psychoactive sensation from the onset of the THC. The sedating effects of the beta Caryophyllene and the myrcene together make it both quickly on setting and kicking in with a relaxing quality.
The higher that beta Caryophyllene gets the more sedating it becomes, the more myrcene up to the point of "psychoactive reversion" (as I know no term for the phenomena in which myrcene acts on cb 1 rather than cb2 at a particular range greater than the beta Caryophyllene levels) the more quickly the relaxation and the intensity of the THC hits.

Slightly triangulated, slightly denser than fluffy indica leaning bud structure, darker green with reddish orange pistils. Spots of purple throughout highlight it's GMO and otherwise indica Lineage, and it's triangulated dense nature points to sativa's expression in the profile, aka a light hybridization of the indica profile by sativa's characteristics structurally.
When myrcene gets amped up over beta Caryophyllene up to around 3x the BCP level, the cannabis acts with a cb1 psychoactive intensity. When myrcene is lower than beta Caryophyllene or not too much greater RELATIVE TO EACH PROFILE the action is increased sedating effect of the BCP. TERPINOLENE levels can help this around and counteract the cb1 reversion.
Terpinolene and Ocimene are two of the primary terpene characteristics that is expressed by sativa genetics. As there are two Landrace environments of both Sativa and Indica, there is an association there I have seen extensively. That is that Ocimene is more common is in EXCESS in South American Sativa and hybrid offshoots like Alcalpulco Gold and Columbian Gold. Whereas terpinolene is seen more in Asiatic sativa.

However, even though this is the case, Asiatic sativas have a much more common happenstance of producing paranoid Highs in modern cannabis thanks to other factors in idealizing cannabis for the modern market. The increase in myrcene levels touched on above influences counter actively the anxiolytic effect of sativa's terpinolene.
It is more common To find the anxiolytic benefit of Sativa's traditionally described in literature I have read in modern indica dominant hybrids as the relaxation of the beta Caryophyllene helps promote the anxiolytic nature of the terpinolene. Naturally amped myrcene levels influence that as well, due to the cb1 reversion effect.

When i speak of the "reversion" I am stating in that manner as a reference to idea that Indica is indeed, a diversion of sorts of the Sativa. So it is just an explanation in language that the effect taking place is a reversion back to sativa's psychoactive anxiety provoking nature with cb1 receptor activation.

Collab 13 has a nice presence both aromatically as well as in its sedating nature of the high that correlates to that of G.M.O. COLLAB 13 does have a harder psychoactive onset associated with the high, but it is minor and short in duration. The relaxing effects of beta Caryophyllene start almost immediately that slowly creeps into a sedating stoned very euphoric feeling non energetic high. That GMO rankness in the aroma is mixed with some chemy diesel floral notes. It really has the indica hybrid aroma balanced between the hybrid chemy floral diesel notes and the rank indica expression.

Garlic Cookies (G.M.O.) X Hazy Lady

Garlic Cookies Aka G.M.O.
COLLAB 13 is an excellent example of when the profile is complex more than it is simple. This is an excellent example following my review of PopScotti to compare the "simplicity of the genetics" occurrences that I spelled out in the Pinene Lean Formula. This is a great example.of when the Pinene Lean Formula Does Work.
Chemdog x Girl Scout Cookies Forum Cut is the genetic profile of G.M.O. Also known as Garlic Cookies. Chemdig is he original chemdog pre super amplification of its characteristics to ChemDawg. Chemdog is an unknown crossing of two unknown genetics, one sativa one Indica.
I really really enjoy the effects and characteristic aromatic profile, as unique as it is of Garlic Cookies. G.M.O. is often not preferred by the novice user, maybe save for its novelty aroma, which is what drives most away. It honestly smells what I compare to a man who doesn't shower daily and forgets deodorant. In smells like man sweat pharamones, or garlic I guess. I honestly smell more of the garliciness of the aroma coming through in the aroma of the Collab 13. It makes up a part of the rank accent in Collab 13 that was very notable in the live resin Badder by Kind Tree.

Forum Cut is the GSC crossed with Thin Mint GSC. These genetics trace quickly back to the Landrace genetics. Both Chemdog and Forum Cut GSC. SO, in this part of the profile the genetics are exemplary of a strain which is not represented approximately by the Pinene Lean Formula.
When Pinene Lean Formula Indicates Simple Genetics
Another thing I have now noted in relation to the Pinene Lean Formula and it's not working appropriately in addition to it occurring when simplicity of genetic lineage is the genetic makeup, but the fact it occurs in strains where only one grandparent is a Landrace direct trace. If the genetics are not indicative of simplicity by the grandparents of the strain at hand, simplicity in genetics is not the case. Which means the pinene Formula should work, as simple genetics means Landrace Characteristic and the pinene Formula seeks hybrid characteristics.

This isn't really a bizarre occureence as the entirety of Terpological Protocol is built around discerning the hybrid genetics and characteristics by discerning Landrace genetic expression. Then the assignment of a hybridized ratio of indica lineage to sativa.
So the pinene lean formula error is not so much an error, but expression or representation of expression of Landrace more pure genetic lineage. The Pinene Lean Formula working as assigned indicates what the protocol was designed to indicate, the hybrid ratio of the genetic lineage.
Hazy Lady

Hazy Lady has a much more complicated genetic profile. This is what led me to the thinking about if it is totally pure genetic hybrids, so the parents are Landrace vs one parent having complex genetic lineage. The majority of the genetic contribution to Collab 13 is a simplified genetic base.

Sophisticated Lady x Inferno Haze
Only the Hazy Lady's parent strain, sophisticated lady presents with Complexity in genetics, and only in its Grateful Breath contributing profile. However, this one instance is an extensive hybrid. This is a cross of Sophisticated Lady x Inferno Haze. The rest of Hazy Lady is simplified genetic profile, grandparents or less back to Landrace.

Inferno Haze however is a great example of when the pinene Lean Formula may not be applicable. the genetic lineage is simplicity in genetics to Landrace, however it does cross AFGHAN HAZE x FIRE OG KUSH. Afghan Haze is a unique cross of Afghanistan Landrace Indica and O Haze aka Original Haze.

This is not to be confused with the Haze that everyone thinks of when they hear HAZE. HAZE is actually a four way cross of South American, Thai, Mexican, and Indian Sativa Landrace. O Haze is a bit different though it does cross exclusively sativa Landrace genetics. Columbian Gold x Alcapulco Gold x Thai x Indian Landrace are the specifics there. O Haze is Santa Marta Gold (Chocolate Columbian) x Wacky Weed x Columbian is the specifics of the Original Haze cross.
As I said early on in this article, the grandparent genetics trace back to Landrace, indicating simplicity in genetics. Once ye genetic profile extends past the grandparent genetics, the pinene lean formula comes into play as we're looking at hybridized cannabis rather than a purified genetic expression as seen in Inferno Haze.

Sophisticated Lady

Sophisticated Lady is a cross of Ghost OG & Grateful Breath. I find it interesting that the pinene Formula applies when the complexity of genetics is only in a single grandparent genetic. In this example that the contributing genetics of the Grandparent strains of Hazy Lady are a simplified genetic orientation overall except for one.
Sophisticated Lady is very pure genetics except for the Grateful Breath. The Ghost OG is an emerald triangle cross with one of Neville Shoemakers Hindu Kush.
Grateful Breath traces back very extensively, and is crossed over itself.
Terpological Discernment will be edited in or posted in a follow up. Wanted to get this out for people. Will finish this analysis with the actual profile reading of the confirmation of analysis and how it correlates to the above information.
